I signed up for a tutorial because I had no idea what I was doing in PPP and was becoming unsure of what benefit it was providing me with. I went and spoke to John with a sheet of paper that said "What To Do About PPP" written quite largely across the top of it.

I spoke about how I was unsure if I'd want to do graphic design for a living, and explained that I chose to do it at degree level because I enjoyed doing it at A Level, and that doing it at degree level as a more full-time focus was making it less fun, and that I was concerned that it would be even less fun to do for a living. This is what was making me reluctant to do studio visits and stuff like that.
It was suggested that I sign up to LinkedIn and join groups of things that I was interested in, and that because I'm doing the course I'm doing, I'll find something related to design that will interest me and hopefully something that I'll want to do for a living, and it would probably be more worth my while referencing my discussions with these people that practising graphic designers.
Studio Brief 1
We discussed the difficulties that being unsure of your future career presents when it comes to personal branding. John suggested that I concentrate more on conceptual side of my branding before deciding "what goes under your name" and hope that while I'm doing this, potential activity on LinkedIn will help me decide what I want to put under my name.
