Bacon Playing Cards

Part of my struggles with PPP and the Design Industry in general over the past year or so have been that, ever since the idea of Function vs Form was introduced to me in COP, I've been of the opinion that a lot of graphic design is pointless and somewhat pretentious. As I was doing some research for Brief 4 in OUGD504 I stumbled across these playing cards, which I think are brilliant, despite being pointless, and I hope they're the start of a change in attitude for me.

I think these playing cards have the right sort of light-hearted and humorous tone of voice that my personal branding should have. They're communicating a pretty blunt message, which is often a scenario I find myself in, but they do it in an engaging yet simple way, which is what I try and do.
